Rebecca Smidt and Dariush Lolaiy, the team behind one of our favourite locals, Cazador, have just released the menu for our Feast this Sunday and it is epic and features so many of our favourite things.
Beginning
Pheasant liver parfait & game terrine w/ chutney & pickles
Pan fried poussin hearts w/ parsley, fino sherry & boar belly bacon
Middle
Whole roast venison, marinated with ginger, turmeric and cinnamon
Served with spiced cous cous, roast chickpeas, fennel labneh, mixed leafy greens & baked flat bread.
End
Persian mess: meringue w/ goats cheese, yoghurt, apple, fig, walnut & khalua
Served with Opawa Pinot Noir & Rose, Antipodes Water & Pilsner Urquell
